The Fountain and Carillion - the perfect combination!
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting May 11th at about 21:45, we can admire a real show at Jan Heweliusz Square. Main actors: Carillon of St. Catherine's Church and the Hevelius Fountain.
This is the third season when Gdansk residents and tourists can enjoy the shows of a colorful fountain, ejecting water to the rhythm of carillon of the nearby church of St. Catherine. The shows will last until the end of September and participation in them is, of course, free of charge. They are implemented as part of the "Waterworks of Art" project and are almost always very popular.
Let's recall that the Hevelius Fountain was built in 2014. It is illuminated and consists of several dozens of nozzles gathered around 3 metal rings and a waterfall.
