Nautilus - a new hit of Gdansk!
An agreement has been signed on 23rd of April, to create an ultra-modern "Nautilus" oceanarium in Gdansk. However, it will not be a standard facility focusing exclusively on marine biology. Thanks to Nautilus we will get to know South American nature and these are not the only attractions for visitors!
It will be a real giant. Nautilus will occupy an area of approximately 3.5 hectares, next to the Stadion Energa Gdańsk in Letnica. The project comes at a considerable cost of 450 million PLN, and the first symbolic shovel is will be driven into the construction site later this year. The oceanarium will be open for visitors in 2022.
The investor – the PFI Fututre company has been involved in many projects, for example the construction of the award-winning Africarium in Wrocław. A facility like this in the portfolio guarantees that the one in Gdańsk will be similar – an absolute hit, only on a far bigger scale.
Original arrangements, magnificent underwater tunnels, and rooms where you can meet free-flying, exotic birds – it must attract attention. And there is more. The second stage of the construction will include an exotic lagoon (available for sunbathing for 365 days), an interactive science centre, a 5D education centre, a catering area, a shopping arcade, a shopping centre for medical equipment, and a 4-star hotel.
Nautilus will be a perfect addition to the rich tourist and recreational offer of Gdańsk. We cannot simply wait! And you?
