Following latest trends in the industry, Gdansk Tourism Organization decided to run a live streaming destined for Chinese market. It was a 2-hours long stroll through most beautiful streets of Old Town. We followed a licenced guide – Michał Maj and Ms. Shiyu who is a Chinese, living currently in Warsaw.

We started next to the Museum of II World War, and went through Pobrzeże, and the Crane, all the way to Mariacka Street, the Royal Chapel and St. Mary’s Basilic. Thanks to the courtesy of the Museum of Gdansk, we had a chance to look into Artus Court and admire its amazing interiors. Then a picture from the Green Bridge and to Holiday Inn hotel on Granary Island, for a glass of traditional Gdansk Goldwasser. It’s worth mentioning that one of the main prizes in contests organized by Ms. Shiyu on the way, was a weekend voucher for 2 persons in that very hotel.

As you know from the title, the streaming was followed by over 200.000 spectators which is an incredible number for that type of activities.

Last but not least, we would also like to extend our gratitude to Foreign Branch of Polish Tourism Organization from Beijing, for without them this initiative would have not been possible.
