Gdansk ZOO
The “Wybrzeża” City Zoo is a place for you if you like nature and animals. It is located in the Tri-City Landscape Park and is the largest zoo in Poland occupying about 120 hectares. Animals from all continents live there, including species practically non-existent in the wild. Some of the species you can meet there include: elephants, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, seals, pumas, penguins, zebras, kangaroos, birds from various continents, goats, donkeys, harts, flamingos and many other animals that can only be admired in the Gdansk zoo. Lions that attract many lovers of predatory animals have been a major attraction lately. In addition to beautiful strolling grounds thanks to which you can admire the beauty of nature, you can also go for an excursion in the “Retro Train” or ride a horse. A “Little Zoo” was established for the youngest visitors; it is the only place in the entire zoo where children can feed and touch the animals. A “Monkey Ravine” is an additional attraction; it is a ropes course dedicated to little lovers of active recreation. The City Zoo is one of the most attractive places for the recreation and education in the Baltic coast. All those who have not visited the Zoo so far are invited and we can guarantee that it will not be your last visit to that place!
