When in Oliwa, you can test your fitness by “climbing” the Pachołek Hill. It is located at the edge of the Tri-City Landscape Park and is a perfect viewing point thanks to which you can admire the exceptional panorama of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk Bay. Additionally, a 15 metres’ high steel structure standing on the hill makes the view even more attractive. An interesting fact worth knowing is that the hill used to be a place of cult for the pagan Pomeranians. Today, the Pachołek Hill is one of the most recognizable and popular viewing points in the Tri-City. If you are not afraid of heights and feel thirsty for an adventure go there and remember: while climbing a mountain one should not complain that the road leads uphill.
