Marcin Faliszek - chef from Gdanski Bowke restaurant has an original suggestion for a perfect Halloween dish. A goose in chocolate sauce with carrots, lavender, smoked potatoes and marinated pumpkin. Definitely worth trying!

Ingredients (for 1 person):

  • Duck breast – 200g
  • Dark Chocolate – 50g
  • Potatoes – 200g
  • Pumpkin – 100g
  • Butter – 50g
  • Oil – 50ml
  • Apples – 100g
  • Liquid for food smoking – 30 ml
  • Vinegar – 10 ml

Preparation:

Add salt, black pepper and pepper to the breast. Place in a fridge for 2 hours. Add apples – grilled and cut into slices, pour broth and simmer till soft. Cook potatoes with smoking liquid. Place butter and some sugar on a plate. Add sliced carrots and pumpkin. Caramelize till soft and add salt, lavender and vinegar. Place all and compose accordingly on a plate. Serve and enjoy!
