The locations of the accompanying events are divided into two zones. The first and main one is Targ Węglowy, featuring the main stage, a meeting spot with Santa, and the Advent Calendar. The next is just a few meters away, in the Great Armoury. 🎅

What’s happening?

Insta Mondays
On Mondays, the stage turns into a true Insta-spot – the perfect backdrop for beautiful photos and short holiday videos. Twinkling lights, winter decorations, and the sounds of Christmas carols create an ideal space to capture the magic of the Market. It’s the day for anyone who wants to take a little bit of Christmas Gdańsk… right in their phone!

Theatrical Tuesdays
Full of magical theatrical animations and performances, these days transport you into a fairytale world, where art meets play and creativity knows no bounds. Come and discover amazing stories while making unforgettable memories in a festive atmosphere.

Great Talent Wednesdays
This is the day when the stage belongs to Gdańsk’s schools, kindergartens, and cultural centers. Choirs, nativity plays, dance performances, and musical showcases by young artists fill the air. On Wednesdays, Gdańsk shows that Christmas magic starts with local talent and the joy of children.

Family Thursdays
Packed with fun for the whole family! Kids can take part in creative activities that transport them into a world of fantasy, while adults can enjoy the festive magic of the Market. Santa will appear on stage, bringing smiles, listening to holiday wishes, and posing for memorable photos. Get ready for a magical time full of family fun!

Musical Fridays
Fridays are all about music, rhythm, and dance – all in a festive mood! Singers, bands, dancers, and DJs take the stage to warm up the winter evening with energy and good vibes. It’s a time to celebrate, laugh, and sing along together.

Magical Weekends
On weekends, the stage comes alive with concerts, carols, and performances from across Poland and beyond. It’s a time for special gatherings and events prepared by the Market’s partners.

During the Market, starting December 1, we’ll open a new window of our special Advent Calendar every day at 6 PM at the Advent Gate next to the Shakespeare Theatre. Behind each window hides a surprise to make the countdown to Christmas even more magical. Expect festive stories, challenges, and special guests!

Throughout the Market, you can meet Santa Claus, who has traveled all the way from the North to listen to your Christmas wishes and pose for holiday photos. You’ll find him in Santa’s Land, on the Main Stage, or around the Market, depending on the schedule.

Over at the Great Armoury, we invite you to Workshops. Anyone who loves crafts and creative activities will find joy in our holiday workshops, where you can make decorations, Christmas cards, or table centerpieces. In addition, together with the Provincial and City Public Library, we’ve prepared a special bookshelf with various titles – and you can also leave your own old books to delight the next reader!
