The Gdańsk Zoo is an ideal place to spend time with children or relax. The beautifully situated garden covers an area of 136 hectares and is located on the edge of the Tri-City Landscape Park. It is inhabited by animals from all continents. In total, there are representatives of about 190 species, which translates into over 1000 animals!
On the beach and sandbanks at the mouth of the Vistula, you can meet seals living in their natural habitat. They chose this place because of the ideal natural conditions, so you can see them lounging on the beach with your own eyes. From the port in Świbno there are cruises during which you can see the reserve from the sea and admire the seal colonies.
The friendly Lion Hewelion invites everyone to discover Gdansk along his own trail. Several statues of the lion cub are scattered throughout the city. Each statue is different and is in a way connected to the place where it is located.
Port Brzezno Rope Park is a great attraction for the whole family, where both children and adults can experience an incredible, thrilling adventure high in the air. The place offers an opportunity to test your strength and courage in extreme conditions along sections of varying difficulty.
We invite everyone, especially the youngest, to the Land of Fun. You will find it in the beautiful Reagan Park, just 300 meters from the beach. There are swings, climbing structures, slides and a rope to traverse in the air for about 40 meters.
This is by far the most popular bathing beach in Gdansk among residents and tourists alike. Its distinctive feature is a 140-metre-long pier facing the Gdansk Bay. You can find here numerous catering outlets, a medical point, changing rooms and toilets. There are also two points where you can use the city's wi-fi free of charge.
As you are walking along the Motlawa, you can’t help but notice the beautiful ships stylised to look like 17th-century galleons. These are the “Lew” (Lion) and “Czarna Perla” (Black Pearl). Both ships sail under the Polish flag and offer cruises to Westerplatte via the Gdansk Shipyard, the Renovation Shipyard, the docks, port and Wisloujscie Fortress, and also around Gdansk Bay.
