Stogi beach

The Stogi beach has been immensely popular with sunbathers for years. The sandy beach is quite wide. It is regularly awarded the Blue Flag mark granted to the best bathing beaches. It is located on the outskirts of the city, but in the summertime it is monitored by professional lifeguards.

Brzezno beach

This is by far the most popular bathing beach in Gdansk among residents and tourists alike. Its distinctive feature is a 140-metre-long pier facing the Gdansk Bay. You can find here numerous catering outlets, a medical point, changing rooms and toilets. There are also two points where you can use the city's wi-fi free of charge.

Jelitkowo beach

The Jelitkowo bathing beach is located on the border between Gdansk and Sopot and is easily accessible from the city. A few minutes away from the beach, you can find a tram terminal and bus stops. The place offers an open-air gym and numerous outlets where you can rent beach and sports equipment.

Orle beach

A distinctive feature of the beach is its tall tower standing on the dunes. The place has an intimate feel to it and is an ideal site for those who like to sleep in a tent or on a camping site. The beach offers a volleyball court, a catering outlet and sanitary facilities.

Sobieszewo beach

If you are looking for a place to relax in peace and quiet, then Sobieszewo beach is the right choice. The island is the greenest and “wildest” part of Gdansk. The wide, sandy and often empty beaches allow you to feel the unique atmosphere of the seaside. There are also numerous trails, ideal for a walk among the trees. You can also find here the Birds' Paradise and Sea Gull Backwater nature reserves, which are home to more than 200 species of birds, as well as seals.
